Travelling Up North (2)

Here's a selection of pictures that I thought are worth sharing. Am still kicking myself for not taking any pictures during the most adventurous part - driving up the spooky road to the deserted Lake Pedu and arriving & using toilets of the deserted resort. And of course no pictures of the deserted humongous Lake - it was very dark anyway.

Too dissappointed, nervous to think about getting hold of the camera. Lousy reporter!

This is Padang Besar..nothing to shout about..the most upper North point of Pen. M'sia, nearest to the Thai border..suppose to have a great variety & mixture of Thai goods & culture.

So DARKKKKKKK.........There are lights and proper walkway..no worries..

I was actually..trying to capture some staglatite / stagmite

Not usre if it's man made..but it sure is beautiful..

Quite a long way in....

The cave is 'alive'..some parts has water flowing down..and the bottom of the walkway is actually a water path with very strong current

Out of the cave ..finally...

Our bedroom in Batu Ferigghi , Penang - RM50 per nite (i think..)

Bathroom is not attached..but it's pretty clean & comfortable
