For those of you who watch what you eat... Here's the final word on nutrition and health. It's a relief to know the truth after all those conflicting medical studies.
- The Japanese eat very little fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than the British or Americans.
- The Mexicans eat a lot of fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than the British or Americans.
- The Japanese drink very little red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than the British or Americans.
- The Italians drink excessive amounts of red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than the British or Americans.
- The Germans drink a lot of beers and eat lots of sausages and fats and suffer fewer heart attacks than the British or Americans.
CONCLUSION: Eat and drink what you like. Speaking English is apparently what kills you.
What was not mentioned was to be merry so that even if you have heart
attack or heart problems, at least you are happy.
My two cents worth of thought :
- Eat and drink in moderation. A little bit of everything. I was told by an experienced TCM expert that too much of vege or fruits will also cause harm to the body.
- Exercise regularly as it helps to generate endorphins which was said to have effects of a general boost in mood and happiness.
- Have sufficient rest & sleep - allow your body and mind to rest.
