As usual..Weekend is Weekend...I needed to CHILL!
Friday - quiet dinner & drinks with quiet companion Chris @ Alexis- The Gardens
My dinner, beer and Chris's 1st drink
Dessert!
Verdict : Food so-so only but as long as companion is good..it's worthwhile. TQ Chris for sharing your queit time with me and not forgetting...sharing the calories (too!) :p
Damage : RM145+ for 2 persons
Saturday - Brunch @ Hong Kong Food Culture Low Yat Plaza with Felicia
Verdict: Somehow..not as nice as before...couldn't even finish my noodle...but the HK feel is still there. If you have a crave for HK food - come here! TQ Felicia ..for wasting off your Saturday with me.
Damage : RM38+ for 2 persons
As usual..after Food & Drinks...there is basically nothing much left to be done. Walked around BB street, Sg Wang Plaza, BB PLaza, Lot 10 aimlessly...it has been years since we last came to this part of town.
Verdict : Think....we ain't the target group for this area anymore. We actually found Sg Wang a very stressful...think we will stick to proper malls in the likes of One U, Sunway, Mid Valley or Pavillion next time. Luckily..I managed to satisfy my 'spending' itch...got some good bargains from a sports factory outlet opposite BB Plaza.
Next?? FOOD again lor..
Snack time - yao cha kuai (from vietnam?)
and Coffee time with Big Apple Donuts..it's nice to sit in the middle of the busy shoppers in Low Yat sipping coffee while we chit chat & CHILL ..and wonder..why these people has So Much to Buy!
The rest of Saturday evening..was at home..
- Doing a little bit more cleaning around the house.
- Watching the repeat of TARA..am stil sad about Henry n Bernie being eliminated :(
- and wathing Lee Chong Wei bite dust losing to Taufik Hidayat in the French Open (*ha*)
Sunday - healthy day with ....
SOURCE
AND...of course..my regular fix of
AND...of course..my regular fix of
Now...Back to work...
with my loyal companion...
P/S: Hmmm..why is it that my basic Motorola SLVR phone's images are better looking than those from the digital camera??
Real chill!! You are a real foodie.
ReplyDeleteThe Hong Kong food does look very Hong Kong. Yummy.
Oh, and that Alexis at Gardens. Been there once with Li Sa for afternoon tea, ordered only coffee and cake, waited for over 30 mins and food was not served. Thought we would be polite but in the end lost our patience and enquired. Turned out they forgot all about our order. PS: there were only two tables at the time of our visit.
