Qing Ming 2009

It's that time of the year again.
As always..time flies..seems like just yesterday we observed this annual event.

Qing Ming is the chinese version of all souls day where families make trips to visit graves/ tombs of their late grand parents, parents or relatives. The actual day falls on April 5th every year but we don't necessary observe it on the actual day, some prefer to start as early as 2 weeks before or some as late as 2 weeks after....whichever convenient.

My family will be going tomorrow, today I mean, since it is now closed to one already. As usual...last minute preparation..a family trade mark that is. My task for Saturday..

I had to transform each piece of these....

into something that looks like this..

and those are to fill up all three boxes...suppose to be gold ..to be used for the rest of the year..in the 'other world'. One box for grandpa, one for grandma and one for mom.

As you can see...each box only had one ..picture was taken at 6pm in the evening. So much to be done yet..I was fooling around taking pictures..blogging about futsal..facebooking...hehe. I am done now of course with some help from dad...it's now 1am next day.
